after its original office closed in Waipahu, The University Women\u2019s Health Specialists hosted an open house for its new location in the Pali Momi Medical Office Building in \u02bbAiea.<\/p><p>University Women\u2019s Health Specialists is part of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology (OB-GYN) and Women\u2019s Health of the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) and University Health Partners of Hawai\u02bbi, the medical school\u2019s faculty practice plan.<\/p><p><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uhmed\/albums\/72157662108554540\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CLICK HERE to view more clinic photographs by UH Med photojournalist Amanda Shell.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p>The clinic officially opened its doors in November, but the open house was held on December 16 for those who wanted to meet physicians and staff, who provided brief tours of the clinic.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u201cWe\u2019re trying to expand our services for the University, for women\u2019s health to other parts of the island,\u201d said Dr. Richard McCartin, medical director of the University Women\u2019s Health Specialists, who acknowledges the importance of offering convenience and service to West O\u2019ahu patients.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Dr. McCartin, along with Dr. Michael Aaronoff, are also JABSOM professors who train students in OB-GYN simulations.<\/p><p>The Pali Momi location\u00a0includes exam rooms and offices for in-house physicians who are experts in a range of specialties, including general OB-GYN, women\u2019s health, minimally invasive robotic surgery and urogynecology.<\/p><p>The clinic can be found in the Pali Momi Medical Office Building in Suite 490.
